Our Story
Green Power Solutions was founded on decades of hands-on experience in power management and a shared commitment to building a more sustainable, efficient future.
When Andrew Shaw returned to Cornwall after more than 20 years in the UPS industry with global companies such as Chloride and Emerson, he teamed up with Sam Taylor. Together, they began selling and supporting Victron Energy equipment for domestic and commercial customers, building a strong reputation and a deep understanding of off-grid technology.
From this foundation, we recognised a clear gap in the market: the need for data-driven insights and ultra-low-power hardware to support critical assets. This became the driving force behind Green Power Solutions’ pivot into advanced technology, enabling intelligent energy management for sectors such as CCTV, mobile surveillance and off-grid infrastructure.
Our ethos has always been rooted in technical expertise, innovation and sustainability. We remain committed to pushing boundaries, striving for technical excellence and reducing carbon impact.
